RSAC 2025 - Announcing AI Guardian: Secure and Align AI Agents at Runtime
Groundbreaking governance tool provides on-silicon trust for autonomous AI agents
Key Takeaways:
Enhanced Agentic Security: EQTY Lab has launched AI Guardian, a new product to bind autonomous AI agents to security standards and business policies throughout their lifetime
Continuous Compliance: AI Guardian leverages on-silicon proofs to cryptographically enforce compliant AI agent behavior at runtime
Trusted Credentials: Endow agents with portable credentials to minimize human intervention and unlock maximum value from workflows
Today at RSA Conference 2025, EQTY Lab is proud to announce the public launch of AI Guardian, a groundbreaking governance tool designed to align autonomous AI agents with rigorous security standards and business policies. As one of the 10 finalists in the RSAC Innovation Sandbox, EQTY Lab has developed the industry's first on-silicon trust layer that ensures AI agents operate securely and remain compliant at runtime.
The Trust Gap
Enterprise adoption of autonomous AI agents has accelerated dramatically, yet governance solutions have struggled to keep pace. Given the speed and complexity at which AI agents interact with enterprise data and tools, new forms of traceability are required to guarantee they operate with security and compliance at each step.
AI Guardian addresses this critical need by introducing a new cryptographic certificate system that provides continuous assurance throughout an agent's lifecycle. This innovative solution, developed in collaboration with Intel and NVIDIA, ensures agents use only authorized resources and follow policy-compliant logic at runtime.
How AI Guardian Works
AI Guardian provides unified controls that bind agents to security and operations policies regardless of where they operate. The process works in three simple steps:
1. Analyze: Guardian scans and discovers each agent's foundational components — including models, tools, prompts, and configurations. These elements are used to establish a graph that determines alignment with security standards and preset business policies. The Guardian then surveys the agent's composition to expose potential gaps and risk areas requiring remediation.
2. Remediate: AI Guardian suggests tailored remediations and guardrails to maximize security and compliance. The tool doesn't just examine an agent's intended use, but also predicts problems that may occur due to drift, tool misuse, or behavioral deviations.
3. Certify: The updated agent, along with each governance action taken, is cryptographically hashed and collected to establish a certified baseline of compliance at deployment. With EQTY's Verifiable Compute, every agent execution is verified at runtime to continuously monitor and enforce alignment to standards and policies.
Key Benefits
AI Guardian offers immediate benefits for enterprises at any stage of their agent deployment journey:
Pre-deployment: Secure agents and prove compliance
Transform complex agent architectures into an interactive canvas for visualization and verification
Surface hidden security risks and policy misalignments with tailored remediation suggestions
Embed component-specific rules to govern agent interactions with precision
Capture immutable, cryptographically-certified records as evidence of compliance
Post-deployment: Enforce continuous alignment and unlock maximum value
Intercept unauthorized actions before they violate policies or propagate across systems
Shield sensitive data and infrastructure from unverified or misaligned agent behavior
Mediate interactions between external agents to facilitate shared context and enforce access control
Collaborate with trusted agent networks to ensure consistent logic and uninterrupted task execution
Enterprise-grade AI Security
EQTY Lab secures the AI supply chain with an integrity fabric rated SLSA Security Level 3. The cryptographic attestations produced by AI Guardian serve as powerful, persistent evidence of compliance across the entire lifecycle of an agent, transforming retroactive audits into proactive proofs of value.
“As enterprises deploy autonomous agents, governance must move beyond traditional methods to provide continuous, verifiable assurance. AI Guardian gives organizations the confidence to scale their AI agents with a verifiable credential that proves an agent can be trusted.”Jonathan Dotan, EQTY Lab CEO
AI Guardian will be generally available in Q3 2025. For more information to get early access or to schedule a demo, click here or visit EQTY Lab at the RSA Conference.
